My thoughts on Michael Jackson final rehearsal
No matter what you might have to say about MJJ's character (we will never know the truth but speculation does not make a person guilty), he was the single most talented person of our generation. MJJ was a lost soul who never got a fair shake because of his personal choices, however unwise they were. Totally misunderstood. A friend of a friend said, "No childhood and now no old age." Bummer that he's gone and we'll never get the opportunity to see his dream of this tour come into fruition.

ReplyDeleteOn the other hand, MJ is a prime example of how you can buy pretty much anything you want if you have celebrity and enough money. Even if that something isn't exactly good for you.
If that cardiologist who attended MJ that last day had been stupid enough to administer Diprivan and NOT have intubation supplies at hand (there was oxygen, but you gotta get that oxygen into the lungs somehow ... haven't heard if an AMBU bag was lying around), he's as good as guilty of manslaughter, because NO medical person in his or her right mind would have given that drug outside of a hospital setting without having intubation supplies. And why didn't the doctor have something as simple as a CPR mask in his "doctor bag?"
Do you know the story on the female guitar player? She's Carlos Santana's protegee. I am sad for all of those musicians and dancers who were about to embark on the adventure of a lifetime.
Thanks, Dr. Murray, for making sure that doesn't happen.
