Ante Up The Boycott

Time to ante up. These companies are blatantly disregarding the law or supporting those who do simply because they don't like President Trump. It's time to teach them we mean business. If you want to make a difference and teach these people and companies a lesson you'll need to GO BIG. That means no Netflix, no cable TV, no purchasing music from anti-American artists and no attending concerts, supporting sports teams and NFL/NBA as a whole and no using Amazon for anything, EVER.

I'll list as many of the companies as I can remember who need to be boycotted. Some will be easy and some will be a cha llenge but remember #PowerOfThePurse will show them we mean business! Remember what happened to Macy's after only a few short months of our boycott.

Run, Mr. Trump, Run!

This last year and a half has been such a journey for me throughout the campaigning and election process but my journey on the #TrumpTrain🚂💨💨 began a long time ago.

It began in 2012 when I started becoming more actively involved in and concerned about the political climate of our country. I was noticing Donald Trump speaking up as a political voice for those of us who didn't have the platform. He was speaking for real Americans like myself who were desperately in need of a drastic change. It was three years into Barack Obama's first presidency. I was feeling depressed at the direction our country was headed in. I lived in the heart of Silicon Valley, the center of high tech, a huge liberal cesspool. Our city had slowly been invaded by illegal immigrants. Everywhere I went there were signs in Spanish, people speaking Spanish (even to me as if I'm supposed to cater to them), State and Federal documents, like the Department of Motor Vehicles and voter registration, were provided in Spanish (amongst multiple other languages). It was no longer feeling like America. My first tweet to Mr. Trump was a begging of sorts for someone, anyone, to care enough about our country to deem English as its official language.

A few months later I chimed in again when Mr. Trump was admonishing then-President Obama for his lack of leadership and his obvious lack of a strong stance against China.

Almost a year later I witnessed a troll attacking Trump. His response was quite eloquent. A simple, "Thank you!" I found myself coming to his defense as I'd developed a fondness for his straightforward, no-nonsense attitude not dissimilar to my own. He is, after all, a New Yorker and I come from a family of New York Italians with zero filter.

A few months later I tweeted desperately begging him to run. He'd become the ONE person standing up for the citizens of the United States of America. I knew then that he was exactly who we needed to fix the mess that Barack Obama had gotten us into. But Mr. Trump wasn't ready. At the time, Governor Mitt Romney was the GOP presidential candidate. I knew he had no backbone and didn't represent me in any way, shape or form. I also knew he'd fail at getting elected.

My plight to reach Mr. Trump went on. Even then, in October of 2012, it was apparent that we had a major problem with voter fraud. It had been happening in California for a long time. We were loaded with illegals then and there was no structure with our voter registration. Illegal immigrants were allowed to obtain a driver's license and there was no watchdog at the County of Santa Clara Registrar of Voter's where I lived. I knew if it was happening in Santa Clara County it was certainly happening throughout the rest of the state and country.

To my dismay but what I'd already expected, Romney failed miserably at his campaign and lost the election in 2012 allowing Obama to continue in a second term. Dear God, I prayed. I've never prayed so much in my life. I'd seen what we'd gotten the first time around with Obama and I knew it'd be more of the same. I didn't realize how much worse it would actually get. Our country became even more divided. Race wars were prominent and only perpetuated by Obama's divisive rhetoric. It saddened me and even depressed me that this person representing the United States of America planted the seed of hate amongst the races and perpetually spread it. Truly disheartening to say the least.

My next attempt at pleading with Mr. Trump to run came in September of 2013. He was actively appearing on network shows like Greta Van Susteren's On the Record on Fox News and recording his own videos promoted on his personal Facebook page. I'd chimed in again.

Less than two weeks later I spotted this gem on my twitter feed and responded appropriately:

He'd begun hinting at a run and I couldn't be happier! Others were jumping out of their seats to tweet him and encourage a run. Finally people were getting excited about politics again and hopeful that we'd have someone strong jump into the fray. You could feel the excitement building.

The excitement continued and so did I, begging and pleading for Trump to run.

I remember in 2015 when Trump started to hint that he had an announcement to make. Most people I knew didn't think there was any seriousness to it, including my own father who'd commented many times, "He's not going to run." I swore up and down to everyone I knew that on June 16, 2015, Donald J. Trump was going to announce his run for Presidency of the United States of America. 🇺🇸 That is the day my real journey began.

We all know the story of the last year and a half of a brutal yet fierce campaign so I'll save that for another post. I'm simply so proud to have been a prophet of sorts. I've always known that Donald J. Trump would become President of the United States of America. That day is finally here! #Trump45

Update to Making Waves on Twitter

I'm honored by all my followers but there are a few that surprise me:

The Woman That I Am

I've recently been told some family stories by my 96 year old 4th or 5th cousin (the lineage is so complex that I'm not even sure the exact relation). It's always nice to hear the family history, about my ancestors from Italy and stories from when my father was young. But this latest story hit me like a ton of bricks. I now know where exactly my strong character, big attitude and lack of tolerance of B.S. stems from.

So the story goes like this: My paternal great-grandmother was born and raised in Italy. One day she was walking down the street and this man came out of nowhere and attacked her and raped her and then disappeared, never to be seen again.

Great Grandma went on to live her life and eventually immigrated to America. One day this family moved into the neighborhood and she realized it was the guy who'd raped her in Italy. He was living in America with his wife but he'd come illegally. My great grandma went straight to his house, pounded on the door and told the man that he was going back to Italy. He begged and pleaded with her not to contact the authorities but she reported him and he and his wife were deported immediately. Clearly if this were today they'd still be here (Thank you Obama for making it worse).

I tell this story because it's a great representation of the strong, BOLD woman I am. This is exactly the type of response I would have had. I'm exhausted with women claiming "feminism". They want to be treated as equals yet at the same time they want special treatment. Oxymoron?? Feminism is cancer and we need to find a cure. I do believe we have. That cure is President-Elect Donald J. Trump. 1/20/2017 #Trump45
